The Inspiration
The "Loving Witness".
This is one of many names given to mental health counselors.
In order to hold space for each client's sadness, pain, and concerns, a mental health counselor must operate from a place of love.
It is this safe, non-judgmental, unassuming, genuine love that I offer to each of my clients.
This kind of Love has a name: Agape.
Agape (ah-gah-pey)
A Greek term for the highest form of love: selfless, unconditional, and sacrificial. It is a deliberate choice to prioritize the welfare of others without expecting anything in return.
The Vision
Although opening my own practice is still many years down the road, the vision behind it already holds deep meaning for me.
Pure Agape Therapy Services is rooted in the kind of care I hope to provide throughout my career: compassionate, person-centered, culturally responsive, and grounded in genuine human connection.
More than anything, I hope to create spaces where people feel emotionally safe, deeply respected, and free to exist without judgment. As I continue to grow professionally and personally, my goal is to offer care that honors both the complexity of the human experience and the dignity of every individual who entrusts me with their story.
